Avril Lavigne can't stand been rotulated as ''anti-Britney''. The 18-year-old canadian singer, finally, got her space with good lyrics and now is the new pop chick. Mentioning this whole thing about Britney she just says, ''Can't we just stop talking about her and begin talking with real singers?'' she said on the begining of the interviw.

Since she appeared in North America with her cd Let Go, she's been compared with Britney and she hates this!!! On every interview Avril does, this unhappy name is always spoken. "I made an album that sold 6 milion copies, I won an award, created a style that everybody is copying and I still have to be compared with other singers? Why? Why they don't rotulate me as anti-Christina? Speaking of Christina, have you seen her new clip dirty? Poor girl...'' Avril just says the same thing to the two pop singers: any of them write their songs and both sell more body than music.

The style she says she created is a large tie with a tank top, which turned the thing that she uses everyday, and her fans too! "I started using my fathers tie 'cause I wanted to be different and know when i perform I see a little crowd of girls wearing ties and singing all my songs. It's like I have thousands of clones. I have fun with this, and I know they wear this because they like my music, so it's all right!"

Besides Avril's life now seems to a movie star life but she says: "I use the same clothes I used to wear and I try not to think about the money I'm winning. My life is my inspiration to write my songs and I can bet that a song written about Miami room's service will not be fun.''

JP-I SWEAR TO YOU THAT I'LL NOT COMPARE YOU WITH ANYOTHER SINGER, BUT I'D LIKE YOU TO KNOW FROM YOURSELF WHAT'S YOUR STYLE. SKATER-PUNK?

AL- I don't like to say that I'm punk 'cause punks don't have their clips on MTV. I was always like this, i like to wear baggy clothes and sometimes I'm kind of agressive. I guess I do give off that kind of image, but... At school I was always on trouble . I still do but now they happen on the bus, at bars that I can go, where i don't have to show documents to show that I have more than 21. Do you believe that I seem to be 21?

JP- ANYWAYS, YOU LOOK LIKE THAT YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN 18...

AL- Oh no...I always was short, thin, the smallest of the class, i never had boobs, bum - nothing. I always liked sports, I skateboard all the time, but I also play hockey, soccer, anyone that you don't have to be tall to play. But I prefer skate because I can take it to where I want. But saying that I'm a skater punk - it's been fake, I'm a beginner writer....

JP- WRITER?

AL- I love writing, and I know I was going to be one at 10, and I started to sing before when I was 13, 14. So I decided to do both. But when this success ends and I have to choose, I'll choose writting, cause I do it better . Nowadays I don't know anything about anything, i just write about my personal dramas, and I'm sure that adults just think that this is ridiculous.

J'P- ARE YOU KIDDING? IF ADULTS THINK YOUR MUSIC IS RIDICULOUS, SO HOW HAVE YOU WON SO MANY AWARDS AND SOLD TONS OF CD?

AL-I don't know as I said but this interview is been so serious let's talk about some funny stuff.

JP- SURE!! ARE YOU DATING?

AL-No, not this kid of stuff - I get ashamed.

JP- WHY, I'M SURE THAT YOUR FRIENDS OR YOUR BOYFRIEND OR WHATEVER DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK PORTUGUESE...

AL- This is true, but it's because the situation it's a little bit complicated, like we kiss each other three times but I'm always traveling making performances, and I don't think he wants to follow me and i don't have the courage to ask him, we just kiss when we meet, i like him, and I think he likes me but I don't know if we are going to be boyfriend and girlfriend. I also don't know if we are going to kiss each other.

JP- JUST GIVE US A CLUE - WHO IS HE? I ALREADY KNOW THAT HES NOT FROM YOUR BAND, CAUSE HE DOESN'T TRAVEL WITH YOU...

AL-i think you are going too far but it's not Johnny reznik from Goo Goo Dolls - he inspires me.
